BC Grant Writing Workshop

On Tuesday, April 19, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. PDT, join TOTA and Indigenous Tourism BC to learn more about grants—including the types of grants available and where to find them—and how to set yourself up for success throughout the grant proposal process. Nourishing Volunteer Managers

If volunteers are an important part of your organization's operations, you'll want to join in KCR Community Resources' monthly Nourishing Volunteer Managers meetings. Case Study: Bullying and Harassment in the Workplace

Employment, labour, and human rights Lawyer, Kelsey Wheelhouse, will be the featured speaker at this online session on Wednesday, April 20, from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. PDT. The webinar, which is being hosted by Community Futures North Okanagan, will "explore a bullying and harassment workplace scenario to assist participants in preparing for a future incident." #WhatWorks – Diversity & Inclusion Series

On Wednesday, April 20, join BC Tech Association virtually from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. PDT to learn more about implicit bias from guest speaker, Andrea Reimer, adjunct professor at UBC School of Public Policy and Global Affairs and founder and principal of Tawâw Strategies. Propel Student Work Placement Program Info Session

Employers are invited to join Tourism HR Canada to learn more about the Propel Student Work Placement Program, which is a wage subsidy program designed specifically for the tourism and hospitality sector. The free info session will take place virtually on Thursday, April 21, at 10 a.m. PDT. Registration can be completed through Zoom


OYP Coworking Day @coLab

Take a break from your routine by joining OYP Collective for a day of coworking at Okanagan coLab on Thursday, April 21. Doors will open at 8 a.m. and allow you to work independently, amongst other professionals, in the coworking space.
