Tourism Kelowna's consignment retail program at the Kelowna Visitor Centre was launched in 2018 to support local entrepreneurs, artists, and businesses, creating a direct economic impact in the community. As we near the halfway mark of 2024, we are excited to launch new products, feature new artists, and welcome new vendors.

Spring/Summer Products

We’ve recently introduced a new design to our collection at the Kelowna Visitor Centre, created by local Illustrator, Ashleigh Green. In her unique style, Ashleigh dressed up our cursive ‘Kelowna Vibes’ logo with grapes on each end, representing the Central Okanagan's wine industry. The playful design establishes a sense of place, which is especially noteworthy given that Kelowna is the birthplace of BC's wine industry.

In addition to Ashleigh's design, we have many new products with a familiar look. A big focus this year was our collection of hats. We’ve played with designs, incorporating Okanagan sites and fun phrases to create a vast collection suitable for all. Visit us at the Kelowna Visitor Centre to see the products on offer, or stay tuned to loveforkelowna.com as new and updated products continue to be added.

Featured Artist Program

In June 2018, we launched a Featured Artist program at the Kelowna Visitor Centre, allowing us to showcase and sell work from local artists and artisans.

This past April, Moozhan Ahmadzadegan, an emerging artist based on the unceded and traditional territory of the syilx Okanagan people, commonly known as the Okanagan, joined the program. Moozhan's art has been exhibited in artist-run centres and public art galleries such as the Alternator Centre for Contemporary Art, the fifty fifty arts collective, and the Kelowna Art Gallery.

His collection at the Kelowna Visitor Centre includes stunning stickers, postcards, and prints featuring flora native to the traditional lands of the syilx / Okanagan Peoples. Moozhan donates 10% of sales from this collection to the syilx / Okanagan Peoples' community.

You can see more of Moozhan's work on his Instagram page, @moozhans_art.
