The Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA) has put together a survey to gather community input on a regional sustainability pledge, with the ultimate goal of increasing the level of awareness and education of both residents and visitors.

As you may be aware, Tourism Kelowna has partnered with TOTA to deliver its Biosphere Adhesion Program. Through this program, we are working to ensure Kelowna and area tourism business are operating in a responsible manner and to ensure we deliver sustainable experiences for visitors and residents alike. The sustainability pledge survey is one more step in driving the commitment toward sustainable tourism.

Once complete, the pledge will live online and will also be shared in the Kelowna Visitor Centre, at our YLW kiosk, and through tourism businesses in the area. Visitors and residents will be asked to voluntarily sign the pledge.

We encourage Kelowna and area residents to take a moment to provide your feedback to help shape the sustainability pledge. Click here to complete the survey; it will close at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, August 15.
