Do you know individuals or organizations that should be recognized for their contributions to the tourism and hospitality industry during the past year? Take the opportunity to nominate them for the 2022 BC Tourism & Hospitality Awards, presented by the BC Hotel Association (BCHA) and Tourism Industry Association of BC (TIABC).
The awards "recognize and celebrate excellence, leadership, and innovation within British Columbia’s tourism and hospitality industry" and will be given out on March 10, 2022, as part of the second-annual BC Tourism and Hospitality Conference.
Nominations are being accepted until January 14, 2022, in the following categories:
- Indigenous Operator
- Sustainability
- Employees First
- Business Woman of the Year
- Hotelier of the Year
- Innovation
- BC DMO Association (BCDMOA) Professional Excellence
- Community Contribution & Impact
A full description of each category, along with general and specific nomination criteria, can be found on the BC Tourism and Hospitality Conference website. Individuals or organizations can self-nominate, or nominate others within the industry, through an online nomination form.
