Tourism Kelowna, along with nearly 140 destinations and attractions (including 36 from BC), participated in GoMedia 2019 in Ottawa, Ontario, in mid-August. The annual media marketplace attracts travel writers, editors, producers, and photographers from Destination Canada's 11 key international markets.
Tourism Kelowna had one-on-one appointments with 30 media representatives from Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Mexico, Japan, Australia, and India to raise interest and secure future media coverage for our destination.
Following the conference, Tourism Kelowna hosted 5 media from Canada, Japan, USA, and Australia for a familiarization tour of Kelowna and Penticton,
