Meeting executives throughout our region will once again come together to learn, network, and celebrate our industry on Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID), which takes place on Thursday, April 11, 2024.
This year, Tourism Kelowna and the Delta by Marriott Grand Okanagan Resort will join forces to host a local celebration. The event—taking place at the Delta Grand on April 11 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.—will spotlight the economic impact meetings and conferences have on our local economy.
In addition to this much anticipated celebration, convention centres, meeting venues, hotels, and attractions across the country are invited to light up in blue to mark GMID 2024. Be sure to use #LightingUpBlue and #GMID2024 in social media and tag Meetings Mean Business Canada so they can share your posts.
Save the date, and watch your inbox for more details on the Okanagan event!
