This winter, the Kelowna International Airport (YLW) will be part of a unique air experience announced earlier this week by Air Canada.

"Air Canada is very pleased to offer its customers a unique opportunity to travel like a pro athlete or a VIP and experience our premium Jetz service,” said Mark Galardo, Vice President of Network Planning and Alliances at Air Canada. “Customers booking on a Jetz flight will enjoy such amenities as its all-Business Class seating configuration, upgraded meal service, and shorter boarding and deplaning times. These features, combined with Jetz's other attributes, create a private-jet-like experience."

The select destinations included for this new service include the Toronto to Kelowna route. The Jetz flights are available between December 12, 2020, and January 6, 2021. A second schedule for March break is currently being developed. All flights will be operated in accordance with Air Canada's biosafety protocols, centred around the Air Canada CleanCare+ program.

The Jetz service complements Air Canada’s existing service from Toronto to YLW, which includes 5x weekly, non-stop service as well as additional daily non-stop flights that will start December 1.
