Tourism Kelowna’s Mobile Visitor Services (MVS) team has been heading out this summer to assist visitors wherever they may be – on the downtown boardwalk, near the beach, and at local events. Need a dining recommendation? Looking for u-pick fruit? Wondering where to find Ogopogo? Our knowledgeable staff and volunteers will be available to answer all these questions and more, ensuring visitors have the information they need to make their trip memorable!

This year, we are excited to launch the newest member of our MVS team, our electric bike IKE (Information Kiosk Explorer)! The bike joins KEV, our Kelowna Explorer Vehicle, as part of the MVS team’s official transportation. The bike made its debut to celebrate Canada’s 150th Birthday, where our team helped almost 300 people. Visitors and residents alike can take advantage of the onsite cell phone charging station and free WiFi available wherever IKE is set up!

Since the spring, KEV has participated in the Vaishaki parade, the Fat Cat Children’s parade, and the Boyd’s Father Day Car Show. Our MVS team has also attended the Hockey Night in Canada’s Play On! Street Hockey Festival, COPA for Kids, and the Great Okanagan Beer Festival.

Be sure to stop and say hello to our team if you see them out and about!
