Our business development team members, Pat Gappmayr and Julia Garner, along with several partners, were thrilled to host Meeting Encore and several of their clients for an educational familiarization (FAM) tour, which took place here in Kelowna from April 11 to 14. There were 11 attendees in total, visiting from Toronto, Ottawa, and Vancouver, and representing a mix of corporate and association markets.
The FAM tour was organized in partnership with Argus Properties, who provided the accommodations and covered the airfare with WestJet. The clients enjoyed one night at the Hotel Eldorado, two nights at Manteo Resort Waterfront Hotels & Villas, and were spoiled on all accounts!
Our partner at Meeting Encore, Jenn Glynn, advised that the itinerary was well planned and offered depth, which gave her clients a great overview of what Kelowna has to offer as a destination.
