With the COVID-19 public health issue evolving rapidly, and with the closure of several civic facilities, Tourism Kelowna will temporarily close the Kelowna Visitor Centre today, March 17, at 5:30 p.m. until further notice. This follows the closure of our Airport Information Kiosk and mobile operations, which occurred yesterday, March 16.
Our visitor experience team will continue to assist visitors and residents with questions and activity recommendations through digital channels including online web chat, email, and social media, as well as by phone. Service will continue to be provided seven days a week, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Click here for contact information.
Our team is monitoring online channels for updates on business closures and event cancellations or postponements; we are tracking this information to stay as informed as possible. Should you have important business updates, please contact the visitor experience team (or any member of Tourism Kelowna's team) directly.
The Kelowna Visitor Centre is an important community hub and while we are implementing and exploring new and different ways to serve visitors and connect them with local businesses in the short term, we remain fully committed to supporting our local tourism industry through this period of uncertainty and during recovery.
If you have any questions, please contact our Director of Visitor Experience, Chris Lewis, at chris@tourismkelowna.com or by phone at (250) 861-1515 ext. 207.
