This October, Kelowna will play host to the first Canadian Summit on Climate Action in Food Systems.

Born from a passion about regenerative farming, organizers Brenda Tjaden and Tamara McLellan decided that Kelowna was the perfect destination to bring together food growers, producers, and consumers to work together to bring about change to our food system. One of Tourism Kelowna's recent #exploreKelowna blog posts, "Kelowna is Ripe for Agriculture and Viticulture Conferences," was the inspiration for Tamara to reach out to our team to chat about the possibilities of creating the event.

The three-day conference will take place at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Grand Okanagan Resort and will include a roster of thought leaders that are poised to inspire and educate attendees to work towards a healthier agriculture future.
