Despite travel media placements slowing due to COVID-19, our destination received some great coverage in March that reached provincial, national, and international audiences.
- Lisa Kadane had an article published with BBC Travel; "Canada's mysterious lake monster,"dives into the Indigenous perspective and history of n ̓x̌ax̌aitkʷ, more commonly known as Ogopogo.
- MSN.com included Kelowna in their round-up of some of "Canada's Underrated Cities," which was written by Elizabeth Chorney-Booth for an Australian audience.
- Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery received coverage across the province for their win as "Distillery of the Year" at the World Spirit Awards.
Once it's again safe to do so, travel will be at the top of mind for a lot of people, which means that travel stories will continue to be published to inspire people for when that time comes.
