A highlight of the International Indigenous Tourism Conference (IITC), which is set to take place in Kelowna this November, is the annual Indigenous Tourism Awards, which are presented on the last day of the conference.

The awards recognize Indigenous tourism operators and experience providers on a national and regional level. This year, both the Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada (ITAC) and Indigenous Tourism BC (ITBC) will be celebrating award winners on Thursday, November 14.

Nominations for both the national and regional award categories are now open. If you know of an outstanding Indigenous tourism operator or a remarkable Indigenous experience you think deserves recognition, be sure to fill out a nomination form by 5 p.m. PST, October 21, 2019.
