We are extremely pleased and proud to announce that Jennifer Horsnell has achieved the Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME) designation, the highest educational certification offered in the Destination Marketing and Management industry by Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI).
The CDME program enhances business acumen through an integrated program of courses specifically designed to develop key areas of learning that deepen and strengthen leadership and management competencies. The curriculum builds DMO leaders who can effectively adapt to manage increasing change and competition within the global tourism landscape.

Every year Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI) also recognizes thirty young people, hailing from throughout North America and beyond, as future leaders of the international tourism industry. This year Tourism Kelowna’s Chris Lewis was chosen as one of these 30 special recipients through the demonstration of his exceptional potential.
Both Jennifer and Chris were presented with their well-deserved awards at last weeks DMAI annual conference.
