With the return date for international travel still uncertain, Destination Canada's Business Events team has updated their website to provide meeting planners with more information on how they can plan and meet in Canada, safely.

As restrictions for meetings and gatherings are fluid and change based on provincial health authority direction, they have created an online resource to provide up-to-date information on local gathering guidelines within Canada. Businesses that previously offered incentive trips or attended annual conferences in the US or overseas are now required to find solutions closer to home. While virtual or hybrid meetings have drastically increased, they cannot replace the value of face-to-face meetings. Destination Canada's Meet in Canada Safely page will help domestic planners find options to make those face-to-face meetings happen, safely, when the time is right.

This addition to Destination Canada's Business Events website aligns with updated information that Tourism Kelowna has added to our website, including our Meetings & COVID-19 FAQs page, which includes a new health and safety video, and our Uniquely Kelowna Virtual Experiences page, for those looking to plan a virtual or hybrid meeting.
