As we continue to stay local and support local, Destination BC (DBC) has officially launched the Share Your Love for BC Contest as a way to connect with BC residents, have them share all the reasons they love their home province, and keep BC top of mind for future travel.
Until March 26, BC residents 19 years or older are asked to submit a photo and short story to ShareYourLoveforBC.com, showcasing what they love about BC. All entrants will have a chance to win one of $500 gift cards or vouchers redeemable at local businesses in their own community.
Although industry partners and stakeholders are not eligible to enter, the contest provides an opportunity to connect with local followers and potential visitors to highlight all that makes the Central Okanagan—or whichever region in BC you call home—such a unique place to live and visit.
DBC has prepared a partner toolkit with the full contest details, suggested messaging for social media, website, or email posts, and downloadable assets, making it easy to help promote the contest as you see fit through your own channels. DBC will also be sharing submitted content through their social media channels so be sure to follow along and share the BC love.
