The Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC) is now accepting nominations for the 2024 Canadian Tourism Awards in the following categories:
- Business of the Year
- Indigenous Tourism
- Sustainable Tourism
- Business Event of the Year
- Tourism Employee of the Year
- Tourism Employer of the Year
- Small or Medium-sized Business of the Year
- Innovator of the Year
- Travel Media Professional of the Year
- Culinary Tourism Experience
- Lifetime Achievement
- Under 30 Tourism Trailblazer
All nominations must be submitted by September 6, 2024. The full criteria for each award can be viewed on the TIAC website.
This year's awards will be handed out on December 5, 2024, at the Sheraton Wall Centre in Vancouver. TIAC notes that "Any Canadian tourism-related product, business, association, initiative, or service that occurred from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023, is eligible" to be nominated.
Nominations can be submitted online; the $100 nomination fee per entry will be waived if the nominee is a TIAC member in good standing.
