Last week, Big White Ski Resort, in partnership with BC Snowboard and Canada Snowboard, announced that they will host athletes from around the globe at the Barrels & Berms Snowboardcross World Cup, taking place at the resort from January 20 to 27, 2020. This will be the first Snowboardcross World Cup to be held in Canada since 2013.
“Way back when, we were one of the first resorts in Canada to embrace snowboarding. We built TELUS Park and we welcomed the snowboard fraternity to one of the only dedicated super pipes and dedicated snowboardcross courses in Canada and now we will roll out the red carpet and welcome the world as we proudly host a World Cup Snowboardcross next year,” said Big White's Sr. Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Michael J. Ballingall.
