Thanks to funding from the provincial government, the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA), in conjunction with the University of Victoria-Peter B. Gustavson School of Business, will be delivering a 13-week program designed to support farmers, crafters, and artisans with developing products that are ready for market.

Through a blend of online sessions, hands-on, in-person learning, and coaching and mentoring, the Agri-Tourism Entrepreneur Skills Training Program will provide participants with a variety of knowledge and skills related to business, product development, and more, ensuring they are ready to take their product to the next level. An overview of the program and the topics covered can be found on TOTA's website

Applications for the program, which will run from February 26 to June 4, must be submitted by February 22. Applicants must reside in the Central Okanagan, be at least 15 years of age, and meet employment eligibility criteria. Visit the TOTA website for all the details regarding eligibility requirements and to apply.
