Farmers Market Tour & Cooking Class
Learn to shop at the farmers market, choose seasonal & local ingredients and turn them into delicious meals. You will start this culinary journey at the Kelowna Farmers Market, picking the freshest ingredients. Then make your way to the culinary campus at Okanagan College to prepare your farm to table creation. In this course, you will learn how to adopt a whole food plant-based way of eating. This course focuses on empowering you with knowledge, confidence, and creativity with plant-based ingredients. This course is taught by Red Seal Chef and Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant, Kelsey Oudendag, who will guide you through cooking methods, nutrition and seasonal flavours. This course is open to all types of eaters whether you are currently vegetarian or just beginning your journey into plant-based eating.
