Get ready to rock at the RCA's Rock School Concert celebrating the spring student bands.
The RCA Rock School is a music education program designed to introduce youth ages 11 to 14 to rock music through beginner music lessons, rock history, and the do’s and don’ts of running a band.
Led by local musicians, Laura Lee Schultz (Down the Lees), Andrew Stauffer (Branchroot Ensemble), and Ezra Cipes (The Oot ‘n Oot’s), with occasional guest instructors, the RCA Rock School will provide an opportunity for youth with little or no experience in playing an instrument to learn from experienced musicians in the Kelowna music scene.
On May 9th, join us for an awesome concert in support of the launching of this school! We will have performances by the student bands, Down the Lees and Oot 'n Oots, raffle prizes, and instructors will be present. Come rock with us!
Thank you to our sponsors Engel & Völkers, Axiom Mortgages Solutions, K96.3 Classic Rock and New Country 100.7 for helping us get the word out that Kelowna is about to rock.
Kelowna is situated on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded tm̓xʷúlaʔxʷ (land) of the syilx/Okanagan people who have resided here since time immemorial
