The Kelowna Secondary School’s Night Owl Theatre is delighted to present to you Radium Girls, a gripping play written by D.W. Gregory. This story was inspired by the tragically true tales of female factory workers in the 1920’s, who were poisoned and killed by the radium-based paint they worked with. It’s hard to look away from this fast-moving drama that is filled with warmth and wit. The play takes a wry and unflinching look at powerful themes including the pursuits of power and wealth, the commercialization of science, how we are shaped by traditional roles, and the injustices faced by the working class.

Shows will run from Wednesday, April 29th to Saturday, May 2nd, at the KSS Studio Theatre, 1079 Raymer Avenue. The shows will begin at 7 pm, with doors opening at 6:30 pm. Tickets can be purchased: at the door; in person from the box office up to one week before opening night; or reserved by email at Prices are $8 for students and $12 for adults.
