Opening on January 19th at the Alternator Centre for Contemporary Art is “The Noisebau” by Puppets Forsaken.

Puppets Forsaken is a collaboration between David Gifford and Natali Leduc. The two have been working together since 2019, creating acoustic noise machines and performing for people and, occasionally, old-growth forests. In “The Noisebau” Puppets Forsaken has created a series of interactive, noise-making sculptures which the artists describe as an “ ... immersive architectural sound envelope."

“The Noisebau” will be on view in the Main Gallery from January 19 - March 2, 2024. This exhibition is co-presented by Inner Fish Performance Co. and is part of the Living Things Festival.
