Singer/Songwriter Jessie Tylre Williams founded the National House Concert Series (HCS) Benefit Gala in the summer of 2014. The first initial PTSD Benefit Gala was held in Innisfail, Alberta in March of 2015 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 104.
The objective of the HCS is to create a National awareness of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as an illness and to aid in the removal of the stigma associated with it. To fund existing and recognized programs focusing on the recovery of PTSD, and education on different mental health issues, suicide prevention, and to help create new facilities where we can help the individuals facing some of the struggles associated with PTSD.
In support of ALL men and Women in service, May 13th is the National HCS PTSD Benefit Gala featuring live performances by Canadian Singer/Songwriter Jessie Tylre Williams.
The Gala includes dinner, performances by Jessie, speakers on PTSD, silent auction, and more. Cocktails are at 5 p.m.
