In I Must Be Streaming, Jorden Doody challenges the viewer to acknowledge the world they live in relation to the digital realm in which they participate. Doody mixes new media technologies such as digital printing, contemporary materials like faux fur and vinyl, with traditional modes of craft like weaving, felting, and mural painting to explore notions of ‘reality’.

In this distorted world of oversized objects, visitors are invited to reflect on their own concepts of connectivity and consider the impacts these have on our relationships and our daily lives.

Jorden Doody is an interdisciplinary artist who examines the transitional spaces between tangible material and digital media. She is based in Kelowna and is currently pursuing an MFA at the University of British Columbia Okanagan.
