Evening the Field – A Retrospective Exhibition

We’re thrilled to present Evening the Field, a retrospective exhibition featuring two pioneers of abstract expressionism in Western Canada: Shawn Serfas and Phil Darrah.

This exhibition pays tribute to their shared contributions to Canadian art and their creative relationship in academic spaces. Their works explore the boundaries of color, material, and space, showcasing their unique visual languages that have influenced generations of artists.
