I am a retired doctor from Rossland BC and I am presenting a slide show on my cycling adventure through the Himalayas in 2023 from Leh in Ladakh to Kathmandu in Nepal.

This was a challenging adventure travel. My slideshow highlights the geography, history and culture of the people living in remote Northeastern India and Nepal in the Himalayan mountains. I cycled in the high Tibetan Plateau, along the Indus and Ganges Rivers and the beautiful Spiti and Terai Valleys, crossing the world’s highest navigable passes.

i am making a series of these presentations through BC to try to raise funds for a small Non-Profit Organization that funds high school education for bright but very poor children in Kenya. This education can transform their lives and the lives of their families. Admission by donation.
