In celebration of International Women’s Day (March 8), CARE Canada will challenge those in the Okanagan, including local businesses, community groups, students and residents to come walk in support of women and girls worldwide. On Saturday, March 9, 2019, participants and their families will attend the 4th annual event at Mission Creek Park in Kelowna which includes an inspiring community 10,000 step walk (or trail run option), fun interactive learning activities, snacks, and prizes.

Time: 10 am – 1 pm
Logistics: There will be a marked 10,000 step walk/trail run option. Registration starts at 9 am, with a program start at 9:30 am for a10 am walk start. There will be snacks, prizes, and fun educational activities.
Registration fee is $25 for adults and free for children and youth. Includes a $20 charitable tax receipt and all registrants get a pair of branded CARE gloves.
