The Central Okanagan Heritage Society and Western Financial Group present the Benvoulin Heritage Festival. This family-oriented, free event celebrates the 125th anniversary of Benvoulin Heritage Church, a historic building and park.

The festival is based on the theme of 1892, a significant year our community's history. In this era, the Kelowna townsite was first mapped out by Bernard Lequime and the Mission (Benvoulin) townsite by George MacKay. 1892 is also the year the Benvoulin Church was built, designed by Harry Raymer and constructed with community labour and donated funds from Lord and Lady Aberdeen of Guisachan Farm.

The Benvoulin Heritage Festival will highlight these events with a day of exhibits, booths, artwork, children's activities, traveling minstrels, an old fashioned dress up photo booth, historic vignettes, and 'Who were you in '92?' with characters in costume telling their stories. The festival also includes a tea from 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. with sweet treats provided by the Eldorado Hotel.
