Arts BC is heading to Kelowna this year to celebrate our 40th anniversary! We’re partnering with local hosts ARTSCO who join us in welcoming you to the conference.

The Conference will be presented at various locations in Kelowna’s Cultural District and at the Westbank First Nation.

Arts BC respectfully acknowledges that this year’s conference will take place on the unceded, traditional territory of the Okanagan (syilx) people.

At the conference, delegates will:

  • Hear from leaders who are trailblazing in digital strategies, decolonizing dance practices, and creating safer spaces at festivals and venues.
  • Learn how to work with Indigenous artists and peer Indigenous arts & culture organizations through a non-colonial lens.
  • Participate in peer to peer presentations covering a broad range of topics including Climate Change, Digital Integrations For Your Arts Agency, Emergency Planning and Preparedness, and Social Innovation Through Indigenous Youth Mentorship.
  • Connect with other industry leaders each day while wining and dining at the Tapas event, ArtsBC's 40th Anniversary celebration, "Beer, Bowling, and Bocce" at BNA Brewing Co. & Eatery, and a wine tour presented by Cheers Okanagan Tours.
