This workshop will end with a plate of wildcrafted pancakes and syrup!!! You don't want to miss this one!

We will go out and harvest curly dock seed and fir needles, then return to learn about both of them while we de-stem the seeds and fir needles. We will then crush the seeds for use as flour, and engage in preparing curly dock seed pancakes, sponge bread, tortillas, and make fir syrup as well. Lord-willing we will be in an indoor kitchen for this with a working oven, otherwise we'll be sourcing a dutch oven for the sponge bread, small enough to fit on the field kitchen's camping stove burner.

Prepare for up to 6 hours spent creating and learning, and come prepared to enjoy the fruits of your labour as well.

Any left-overs will be divided up among everyone to be enjoyed at home.
