After losing the family estate and fortune, Blanche duBois, former debutante, is forced to relocate to live in the New Orleans French Quarter with her younger sister, Stella, and her blue-collar husband Stanley Kowalski. Filled with romantic illusions of the past, Blanche is incapable of coping with the dangerous realities of the present as Stanley stalks closer to the truth and exposing her secrets.
