Not only is it a great time to support small local businesses, but these are also fun options if the adrenaline-junkie in you is looking for something to do that is COVID-friendly and outside.

When visiting attractions, make sure to stick to your household or core bubble, where a mask where required, keep your distance, and sanitize your hands when possible. 


Zipline Adventure Parks

We have three choices when it comes to flying along an aerial rope runway in the region. 

At Zipzone Adventure Park, visitors get the opportunity to cross over the beautiful Deep Creek and soar 116m (381ft) above the canyon. Looking for something that requires strength and agility? Check out their DynaClimb - a climbing wall that shifts with your body weight, requiring you to rebalance on the fly.

Those of you in the Lake Country area, the Oyama Zipline Forest Adventure has something for the young and the young at heart. There are ziplines and obstacle courses for the adults and bigger kids, while the little ones can play in the Monkey Park. This space that includes an elevated obstacle circuit that is netted in, which makes it safe for children between 3 and 11 years old.

The Myra Canyon Adventure Park is also made for all members of the family. Kids aged 3 and up can test their climbing ability on the Kinder Course. For adults, there are 77 climbing elements that are spread along a 1.6 km course. Don’t want to miss out on happy hour? A Zip and Sip tour is available for guests who would like to go wine tasting after, and this tour includes your transportation that will pick you up from home!


Full Cyrcle Adventures

If you have a need for speed, Full Cyrcle Adventures has the machine for you. Sun, rain, or snow, their vehicles are ready to take you on a Mountain Trail Tour or a Thrill Ride. The guides will even build you a custom Utility Terrain Vehicle adventure so you can experience views of the Okanagan like you never have before! Drinks and snacks are all included - just bring yourself and an extra change of clothes in case you get muddy!


Okanagan ATV Tours

The tour guides who work at Okanagan ATV Tours are not only fun, but also full of knowledge about where we live! Hop on an all-terrain vehicle on a 2-hour or 4-hour adventure and explore the local scenery while learning something about our valley. Helmets, goggles, gloves and other protective gear are provided for your tour. 


CRIS Adaptive Adventures

Hike, cycle, or paddle, no matter your ability! With the guided programs with CRIS Adaptive, anyone can improve their lifestyle and mental health through outdoor recreation. Volunteers and trained staff utilize adaptive equipment to assist adventure seekers who may otherwise face barriers to experience nature.


Okanagan Skydive

See what the Okanagan looks like from 10,000 feet up! Check out the peaks of the Monashee Mountains, while taking in the views of the many lakes in our region. With Okanagan Skydive you can choose from a tandem jump where you are accompanied by a certified master instructor throughout your whole journey, or take a course so you can do your very own solo jump one day! All participants depart from the Vernon Regional Airport.
