Hosting your business event in the heart of Kelowna means your delegates will have easy access to Okanagan Lake, Knox Mountain, and the bustling city centre, which is full of restaurants, shops, museums, and more. Here are 3 centrally located venues in downtown Kelowna (and a nearby option for accommodation) that will make your event planning journey as seamless as possible.

Nestled in the heart of Kelowna’s Cultural District sits the historic Laurel Packinghouse, at one time BC’s oldest and largest fruit packinghouse. This charming venue offers a warm and inviting space, with several of its original architectural features still intact. Whether you’re planning a welcome reception, a sit-down dinner, or a day of presentations, the Laurel Packinghouse can be expertly configured for groups up to 305 people. There is also beautifully designed outdoor space to accommodate your needs.

With a bright, airy atrium, 326-seat theatre, and array of studio space and meeting rooms, the Rotary Centre for the Arts is an excellent choice for a wide array of business events. The certified Kelowna heritage building, also situated in the Cultural District, offers a budget-friendly solution thanks to its competitive rates. Equipment rentals, onsite catering, and design and marketing bundles can all be coordinated with the Rotary Centre’s friendly and capable team.

Venture north of the Cultural District, and you’ll find Kelowna’s only urban winery (and BC’s oldest winery location), Sandhill. The spacious tasting room’s 8,000 sq. ft. of event space can be transformed to meet your vision, accommodating groups of up to 210 people. Sandhill’s Small Lots Barrel Cellar is perfect for more intimate long-table dinners for groups of up to 46. Why not consider having the winemaker speak to your attendees or coordinating food-paired tastings for the whole 'taste of Kelowna' experience?

Coast Capri Hotel

While there are accommodation options downtown, these can come at a premium and book up quickly, especially during peak travel times. The nearby Coast Capri Hotel—less than 10 minutes from the Cultural District by car—is another option that will still offer the convenience your delegates seek. In addition to its 185 guest rooms, the hotel also has 16,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, allowing you to plan parts of your events onsite, too. Plus, the outdoor pool and hot tub will surely be welcomed after a long day of networking.

Thanks to their central locations, these facilities will also make it a breeze for your delegates to discover what else Kelowna has in store!
