Summer has arrived in Kelowna, and there’s a ton of great events happening across the city! Here’s a sampling of some noteworthy art and culture events for your calendar.
Rock the Lake
Where: Exterior of Prospera Place (1223 Water St., Kelowna)
When: Friday, July 12 to Sunday, July 14, 2024. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. on July 12.
Admission: $79 to $589
Rock the Lake is Kelowna’s classic rock festival! The 2024 lineup includes Tom Cochrane, 54.40, Wide Mouth Mason, Our Lady Peace, Daughtry, and more. The annual three-day festival will run July 12-14
Arts on the Avenue

Where: 400 Bernard Ave., Kelowna
When: Tuesday, July 16 and Thursday, Aug 1, 2024. From 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Admission: Free
Join Arts on the Avenue for its 9th year! The summer we'll have two arts-focused outdoor festivals celebrating and promoting our local artist community. The first is July 16th from 3 pm to 9 pm, and the second is August 1. Artists of all disciplines will be taking over the street and sidewalks of Bernard Avenue from Abbott Street and into Kerry Park for an adult-focused evening of artistic revelry.
Downtown Kelowna Block Party
Where: Bernard Ave., Kelowna
When: Saturday, July 20, 2024. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission: Free
The Block Party is a free, family-friendly event that takes place in Downtown Kelowna. The giant party fuses community, art, culture, food, live entertainment, shopping, and more. You’ll want to ‘block’ July 20 in your calendar for this event!
NestFest @ Red Bird Brewing
Where: Red Bird Brewing, 1080 Richter St, Kelowna.
When: Saturday, August 3 and Sunday August 4, 2024. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission: $79 to $149
NESTFEST 2024: The Ultimate Live Music Experience! Celebrate the third annual NESTFEST over the BC Day long weekend on August 3-4, 2024, at Red Bird Brewing in Kelowna. Enjoy two days of incredible live music, community, and celebration in a cozy, intimate setting.
Denim on the Diamond
Where: City Park, Kelowna (1600 Abbott St, Kelowna)
When: Friday, August 30 to Sunday, September 1, 2024. Gates open at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 30.
Admission: $79.99 to $699.99
Denim on the Diamond is celebrating its sixth year in 2024. Taking place over the Labour Day weekend, Denim will feature a variety of musical acts, including Tyler Hubbard, Kaleo, Vavo, K.Flay, among many more!
