Feeling major FOMO after scrolling through Kelowna content on Instagram or TikTok? Jensen, a local creator whose recommendations are constantly popping up on feeds, might be the reason why! She inspires countless users to explore all the exciting things Kelowna has to offer.

Originally from Summerland, Jensen recently moved to Kelowna and quickly discovered a city brimming with trendy cafes, talented chefs crafting unique dishes, and epic hikes. This newfound love for Kelowna fueled Jensen's desire to create content. "It's truly endless and it's my mission to encourage our community to get out and experience Kelowna for themselves!" says Jensen.

Beyond creating captivating content, Jensen also works as a social media consultant, helping local businesses master their online presence. When not working or exploring Kelowna, Jensen enjoys international travel adventures. However, no matter where she roams, Kelowna always holds a special place in their heart.

Food and the outdoors are two of Jensen's biggest passions, and both heavily influence their life in the Okanagan. Ideal days off often involve conquering a new hiking trail, followed by a well-deserved meal at a local restaurant. She highlights the Okanagan's perfect combination: "What I love so much about Kelowna is the endless outdoor adventures and unique local restaurants with delicious food and drink to enjoy. I believe that the combination of enjoying nature and a good restaurant is the recipe for a perfect Kelowna day!"

For Jensen, the stunning backdrop of Okanagan Lake is a major reason to love Kelowna. "No matter the season, Kelowna is a giant outdoor playground with hiking, boating, skating, kayaking, skiing, biking, snowshoeing and so much more right in our backyards. The activities are endless, you can never get bored in Kelowna."

For first-time visitors, Jensen offers three must-do experiences:

1. Brewery tour downtown: Delve into the city's growing brewery scene by taking a brewery tour downtown. Some of Jensen's favorites include Red Bird Brewing and Vice + Virtue Brewing Co.
2. Explore Bertram Creek Park: This hidden gem is a stunning spot on Okanagan Lake frequented by locals.
3. Catch a sunset on a patio: No Kelowna trip is complete without enjoying a sunset on a patio. Jensen suggests Lakeside Dining at Hotel Eldorado, Maestro's Mediterranean, or Craft Beer Market for a perfect view and delicious bites.

As a local, Jensen offers a secret tip – Micro Bar & Bites! This downtown gem boasts a creative cocktail menu and a cozy setting. Plus, they have an amazing happy hour for those seeking a good deal.
