Kelowna International Airport (YLW) offers regular, non-stop and direct flights from a variety of Canadian cities. Remember to review COVID-19 guidelines for travel when booking your trip. With several golf courses within close proximity of YLW, you can be on the tee within an hour of landing. Better yet, Okanagan Golf Club and The Borgata Lodge are located a 5-minute shuttle ride away from the airport.
Stay and Play
A stay at The Borgata Lodge puts you within walking distance of Okanagan Golf Club’s 36 holes of golf. The beautiful Tuscan-designed Borgata Lodge offers all the comforts of home. The Bear and The Quail
If you are up to the challenge, you can play 36 holes and tackle both terrific golf layouts on the same day, but we suggest a more leisurely approach to savour the experience.
Crafted by Nicklaus Designs, The Bear Course can prove as ferocious as a grizzly or as gentle as a teddy, depending on which set of tees you choose. On its hind legs, the layout stretches to 6,885 yards. Well-placed bunkers, grassy swales, collection areas, sculpted mounds, and tiered greens lend the course some extra challenge.
Designed by golf course architect Les Furber, The Quail Course features dramatic elevation changes and breathtaking views as 6,794 yards of multi-tiered fairways meander around a majestic rock bluff. One renowned golf writer described the course like this: “You could play The Quail Course every day for the rest of your life and never face the same series of shots.”
Both courses are uniquely designed but maintain perfect harmony with the natural terrain.
The clubhouse is a perfect match to the two magnificent Championship golf courses. Designed in the Southwest Spanish-style and nestled among the Ponderosa pines, it is a beautiful and relaxing retreat after a round of golf. Sarazen's Restaurant and The Player's Lounge and Grille offer an impressive array of menu choices featuring local ingredients prepared with West Coast flair.
