Over the past year, we've had to stay close to home more than ever before. Through the ups and downs of the pandemic, the beauty of this place we call home and our good fortune to live here have remained. What do you love most about Kelowna? Is it the mild winters allowing us to get outside every day? The vast natural environment and outdoor playground that surrounds us? The amazing local businesses that have worked hard to keep their staff and customers safe while providing much-needed services? Whatever it is, we want to know about it!

On May 29, 2021, show off your love for Kelowna. Shout it from the top of a mountain trail, from the shores of Okanagan Lake, from the winding paths along Mission Creek, from the patio of your favourite restaurant, from the orchards in your neighbourhood—wherever you choose, share it on social media for a chance to win a $200 Love for Kelowna gift card!

  • Running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 29, over 15 prizes will be hidden in various downtown locations. Follow @loveforkelowna stories on Instagram where a hint will be released every 15 minutes.

  • Post on social media sharing your Love For Kelowna on May 29, 2021. Posts dated before May 29, 2021 are not eligible. 
  • On Instagram, make sure your account is PUBLIC
  • On Facebook, set your post to PUBLIC

Each post (more posts = more entries) to social media on May 29, following the contest rules outlined above, will be entered to win a $200 gift card to spend at the Kelowna Visitor Centre or online at LoveforKelowna.com.

A winner will be selected at random and announced through social media on Monday, May 31
