19 Okanagan Grill & Bar

Located near the beautiful Okanagan Lake, 19 Okanagan Grill & Bar is perfect for both casual outings and special occasions. This spot boasts the largest patio in West Kelowna and provides stunning views of the Two Eagles Golf Course. 19 Okanagan sources their ingredients from local farmers, winemakers, and brewers, resulting in fresh and delicious dishes while keeping the community thriving. Don't miss their daily happy hour from 2-5 pm, featuring $3 off 9oz glasses of wine and $2 off their share plates such as Huli Huli Bao Buns, Samurai Wings, and Tofu Tacos. To top it all off, indulge in their signature 19 Okanagan Peach Bellini or a refreshing Slushy Lime Margarita.

BLOCK ONE at 50th Parallel Winery

Set within the 50th Parallel Estate Winery in Lake Country, BLOCK ONE at 50th features a modern, elegant dining space surrounded by vineyards and a one-of-a-kind cantilever covering the patio. If you’re heading there for their happy hour, which runs Thursday through Monday from 3-5 pm, I highly recommend ordering the Sablefish Croquettes and the BLOCK ONE Taco. Both are so delicious! Pair with a glass (or bottle!) of award-winning 50th Parallel Estate wine. They also offer brunch on Sundays from 11-3 if you’re in need of a Sunday Funday! This is the ONE dining experience you won’t want to pass by.

Davison Orchards

A trip to Davison Orchards is well worth the drive from Kelowna to Vernon! Established as a family farm in 1933, Davison Orchards offers fun activities for all ages at their charming orchard setting and is open seven days a week. Between visiting the farm animals, shopping at the gift shop, viewing the collection of antique tractors, and taking a historic tour of the orchard, you can plan a whole summer afternoon here. After your activities, you can sit down and relax at the Farmhouse Cafe with a slice of freshly baked pie and a glass of cold-pressed apple juice while you take in the views of Vernon.

Grate Cheesery

No charcuterie board is complete without the cheese, and Grate Cheesery knows this all too well. Renowned for their warm and inviting atmosphere, their passion for fine cheeses and gourmet foods is evident from the moment you walk in. Their knowledgeable staff make it easy to become just as enthusiastic about their offerings. More than just a cheese shop, Grate Cheesery boasts a licensed café with a dog-friendly patio—perfect for enjoying a meal with your furry friend (who probably loves cheese as much as you do!). You can savour an impressive selection of Okanagan wines, local beers, and ciders, perfectly paired with your custom cheese board. With a variety of international and BC-made cheeses, you can choose to take your selection to go or enjoy it on-site with one of their delicious cheese or charcuterie boards, or a personalized wine and cheese flight. Insider tip: make sure to book one of their exclusive private wine and cheese tasting events held after hours. Don’t miss their best-seller, the D'affinois, a double cream, soft cheese from France. It’s simply magnifique!

Mid-town Station Kitchen + Drink

Whether you're meeting up with old friends, celebrating a special occasion, or just enjoying a casual meal, Mid-Town Station Kitchen + Drink in the heart of the Landmark District in Kelowna offers a dining experience that's both familiar and refreshingly unique. With a focus on high-quality, locally sourced ingredients, their menu features creative twists on your favourite staples. As the *new* sister restaurant to Train Station Pub, Mid-Town Station delivers the same friendly and knowledgeable service that Kelowna residents have come to love, along with an array of distinctive food and drink options. It's the perfect spot to savour delicious meals, enjoy great company, and experience Kelowna's culinary scene. They offer a wide range of dishes; from classic staples like the Steak Sandwich to inspired dishes like the Baked Salmon Nage.

Parlour Ice Cream

Right across from Okanagan Lake and City Park in Downtown Kelowna, you’ll find Parlour Ice Cream. Since opening up shop in 2017, Parlour has quickly become a favourite for locals and visitors alike due to their commitment to creativity, unique flavours, and quality. Plus, they are the only ice cream shop in Kelowna that makes premium ice cream on-site. A few of my personal favourites from their year-round staple flavours are Whisky Hazelnut and Lavendar, best served with one of their freshly made waffle cones. There is also a large selection of seasonal flavours, such as Banana Cream Pie, Lemon Blueberry, and Saffron Rose. The flavours are ever-changing so there’s always something new to try! Satisfy your sweet tooth and grab a cone to enjoy on your next walk downtown.

Waterfront Wines

Waterfront Wines offers a sophisticated dining experience right in Kelowna’s downtown cultural district, showcasing the best wines and culinary creations. The menu continually evolves to reflect what’s in season in the Okanagan and prioritizes using ingredients from local sources. Waterfront Wines’ Armstrong Asparagus salad presents as the ideal summer dish- fresh asparagus topped with cashew ricotta and granola, then finished with an orange honey vinaigrette. Meanwhile, the premium wine list presents an impressive collection, with over 800 local & international wines. Blending Okanagan flavours with handmade care and international influences, it’s no surprise that Vancouver Magazine has awarded Waterfront Wines as the “Okanagan’s Best Restaurant” for twelve years.
