The Lakeshore Wine Route
Saturday, February 10th love the one your with on the “Love the Wine Your With Wine Tour” on Kelowna’s Lakeshore Wine Route. This delicious tour features complimentary wine tastings paired with moreish treats from Kelowna’s world-class KARAT Chocolate! Participating wineries: Tantalus Vineyards, Summerhill Pyramid Winery, St Hubertus & Oak Bay Estate Winery, and CedarCreek Estate Winery.
Book in for the weekend at the romantic Hotel Eldorado or Manteo Resort nearby (both have restaurants for your dinner booking too).
The Westside Wine Trail
The Westside Wine Trail has a whole weekend dedicated to love and indulgence. February 10th and 11th the 7th annual “Sip with Your Sweetheart” event, featuring decadent wine and chocolate pairings that have been carefully created by local chefs, bakers and sommeliers. This is a self-guided tour however if you want to leave your keys behind, touring options are available through Distinctly Kelowna Tours, Roots and Vines Tours, or Uncorked Okanagan Wine Tours.
Long weekend sleepover options in the area include: The Cove Lakeside Resort or Casa Loma Lakeshore Resort and The Cove can accommodate your dinner needs at their Bonfire Restaurant.
Lake Country’s Scenic Sip
Lake Country’s Scenic Sip also has a special “Sweetheart Pairings” tour on February 10th from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm with 7 wineries participating. Guests will experience gourmet cheese, decadent chocolate and other delicious wine paired delights.
Our local restaurants will be busy, so if you have a favourite place you want to celebrate at do call soon to make a reservation. If not, consider spending a romantic night in your hotel or vacation rental with picnic style treats that you have picked up along the way, or order room service… and obviously, pair it all with a bottle of local pink bubbles.
