The arrival of fall means that Kelowna is host to a mix of indoor and outdoor events, events that celebrate harvest, and the performing arts organizations that took a break over the summer are back with incredible performances kicking off this season. Here are a few upcoming events to put on your must-attend list.  See you there!

1. Ribfest – September 15 - 17

This family friendly event is an outdoor festival taking place in City Park. Live music, kids zone, vendors, beverage garden and ribs! Featuring four ribbers from across Canada this is a tasty feast the whole family will enjoy.

2. Hopscotch Festival – September 23 - 23

With over 200 products & 70 booths this festival brings together local and international whisky, beer and spirits producers to turn the Kelowna Curling Club into a Grandstand Tasting Hall.

3. Okanagan Fall Wine Festival – September 28 - October 8

This celebration of the grape is a festival that celebrates harvest. There are more than 85 events taking place in the Kelowna area over the 10 days. The WestJet Wine Tastings on September 29 & 30th are always a sell-out so be sure to get your tickets now to avoid missing out.

4. Scarecrow Festival – October 1 

This family friendly event is another event for the entire family. Enjoy food trucks, face painting, a hedgemaze, outdoor music, crafts and a scarecrow building competition.

5. Spooktacular presented by the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra, October 28

Arrive in costume and enjoy this performance by our local professional orchestra featuring music and narration from Dracula, Harry Potter, Psycho and more. This is a great place to start your evening of Halloween Celebrations.

6. Acts of Remembrance presented by Ballet Kelowna, Nov 10 - 11

Honouring our Veterans this fall performance from Ballet Kelowna includes two world premieres and a company premiere. The costumes and choreography bring each piece to life with the professional dancers from Ballet Kelowna.
