When it comes to sparkling wines, we typically enjoy them to celebrate special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, New Year's toasts, after a bride and groom are married, brunch or even just because it’s Monday. Personally, I can enjoy this wine any day at any time. Thanks to Kelowna wineries, each having a unique style, we as consumers have a choice; there is a sparkling wine for every palate whether you like sweet, dry or something in between.

Did you know there are more than 20 wineries in the Kelowna area that are making sparkling wines? I have yet to try them all, which makes for a perfect reason to get out wine touring and discover some new wines.
