Celebrating Family

I love everything that the Cipes family does. Lead by Stephen Cipes, the proprietors of this destination winery have built a beautiful empire where they feature the very best of what the Okanagan has to offer while maintaining solid grass roots.

Every holiday feast in the Okanagan should be a celebration of the bounty that we grow and produce here. We have the unique opportunity to eat and drink almost exclusively local so let’s do it! Creating at totally local holiday feast is easy and a one-stop-shop at the Kelowna Farmers' & Crafters' Market.

Kelowna’s Bean Scene Coffee Works has become THE coffee scene in town. Now offering four locations (downtown, Landmark, Capri Mall, and Pandosy Village plus a Big White shop) the Bean Scene team has created its own culture and hub for locals to sip, work, chat and hang--with or without others.

Sterling Springs Chicken is owned and operated by Lisa and Hans Dueck based in Falkland BC. Their chicken truck can be found  bi-weekly at the Kelowna Farmers' & Crafters' Market currently on Springfield.

Arriving in Canada for the last week of September, the 2016 Royal Tour of Canada included a stop right here in Kelowna. We were honoured to welcome the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to Kelowna this past week.

There’s no doubt that summer in Kelowna is coming to an end. The u-pick farms are transitioning from plums and apples to squash and pumpkin, but luckily in Kelowna farm-to-table experiences are still available. So where should you go for farm to table flavours? I have trialed, tested, and definitely approved these three places.
