I’m a professional mountain biker and I live and regularly train in Kelowna. Welcome to my stomping grounds!

My ultimate winter weekend in Kelowna combines a few things I love – warm drinks, quiet solitude in the forest, and adventure. The great thing is that you can do these activities with a friend or solo. You can even do them with kids!
When I moved to the Okanagan in 2014, I was most surprised by the number of orchards, markets, and fruit stands, and the easy access to locally grown fruits and vegetables.
Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park has one of the largest networks of singletrack trails in the Kelowna area, the trail network is known as Crawford Trails, named after the nearby waterfall and quaint neighbourhood the park borders. Along the way to the trailhead, you’ll see horses and farm stables nestled in the hills, orchards, and wineries.
Sunshine, hundreds of kilometers of singletrack all to yourself, easy accessibility, a wide range of technical challenges, and even a massive lake you can swim in post-ride before heading to a local brewery? That sounds like a mountain biker’s paradise and it exists in Kelowna, BC.
