The past couple weeks have seen the mercury drop in Kelowna and while we all bundled up, the icy cold weather brought something magical and quintessentially Canadian to our local vineyards.

For those coming to Kelowna for a winter vacation, or coming home for the holidays to visit friends and family, the ice rink at Stuart Park is a must do and it’s one of my all time favourite Kelowna winter activities. Don’t worry if you didn’t pack your skates, there’s rentals right on site.

Every holiday feast in the Okanagan should be a celebration of the bounty that we grow and produce here. We have the unique opportunity to eat and drink almost exclusively local so let’s do it!
