Artwork from Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, Camille Pissarro, Gustave Courbet and other world-famous and renowned artists is set to visit the Kelowna Art Gallery for the first time later this year. How cool is that?
The exhibition is called A Cultivating Journey: The Herman Levy Legacy, and it has been organized and circulated by the McMaster Museum of Art.

Herman Levy bequeathed the collection to the McMaster Museum of Art in 1984. In addition, Levy also gave funds to enable subsequent additions to the already significant collection. Levy’s generous donation is one of the most substantial made to a university gallery in Canadian history.
This exhibition - worthy of some of the world’s finest galleries - will open in Kelowna on June 16th, running until October 28th, 2018. Whether you’re a visitor or a local, you really don’t want to miss this!
Located in the Cultural District in downtown Kelowna, a trip to the Kelowna Art Gallery (KAG) is always a worthwhile excursion. There’s a regular schedule of varied events, classes, workshops and exhibits at KAG, with specific attention given to both historical and contemporary Canadian art. In other words, it’s not every week you’re going to find Van Gogh and Monet in Kelowna!
Nataley Nagy, the Executive Director of the Kelowna Art Gallery, certainly believes KAG needs to be added to your Kelowna itinerary:
