The open-air restaurant wraps around the CedarCreek Wineshop with every seat affording a breathtaking view of vineyard and lake. Following our 'Farm to Table' philosophy, our Executive chef, Jeremy Tucker will showcase, local, seasonal ingredients at their freshest.
A graduate of the Culinary Institute of Canada from Charlottetown P.E.I., Jeremy has had the pleasure of travelling and working at notable restaurants in P.E.I., Alberta, Bermuda and New York USA where he had the honour of working at the 'James Beard house'. Most recently Jeremy cheffed at the 'Snowwater Heli-Ski' a boutique backcountry heli-ski lodge.
Grew up in Summerside P.E.I., and began his career as a dishwasher during high school. Jeremy took an interest in cooking and began learning the basics, moving up to cook. Jeremy graduated from the Culinary Institute of Canada in Charlottetown P.E.I. in 2001 acquiring his red seal shortly after. Jeremy has had the honor of cooking at the James Beard House in New York City as well as various other special events on the East coast. Jeremy has worked at some very notable restaurants in Prince Edward Island including Seasons in Thyme, the Delta Prince Edward, and the Inn at Bay Fortune where Jeremy enjoyed easy access to superior quality seafood and shellfish.
With the travel bug he moved to Bermuda for 2 years gaining exposure to different cultures, foods, and lifestyle. At the age of 21 he took charge of his own kitchen as executive chef at Storm Mountain Lodge in Banff National Park. This is where he fell in love with mountain life. After cooking in the mountains for 9 years he created a reputation as a chef in one of the best places to eat in Banff. Jeremy now spends his winters as executive chef at Snowwater Heli-Ski. A boutique backcountry Heli-Ski lodge catering to small intimate groups of 12. He is only limited by his imagination creating new menu daily for his lucky guests.
Jeremy met his wife Caroline while in Banff who has a background in the wine industry so naturally they were drawn to the Okanagan as it's the source of some of Canada's best wine. Jeremy joined von Mandl Family Estates in 2013, as the sous chef at the Terrace Restaurant at Mission Hill Family Estate Winery. Although he keeps himself busy in the winter at Snowwater Heli-Ski, he has succumbed to the charm of winery restaurants in the Okanagan and returns to head the culinary team at CedarCreek Estate Winery as Executive Winery Chef each year.
